When We Die — We Are Born
To many people, life after death remains an unsolvable mystery. It is far too awesome for them to comprehend. I like to think, however, that it is best understood as something very simple, very natural.
Some years ago I conducted funeral services for Neil Collum, a good friend and a good man. I look at Neil's casket and I told the people gathered there that Neil Collum was not in that casket; that that was only the body Neil had used on earth; that he himself wasn't there. And then I shared these thoughts that have always been meaningful to me, thoughts about God's love for us: Before Neil was born, when he was in the prenatal state, tucked up under his mother's heart, he was already sensitive to love--even unborn babies are--and this baby was happy there. But suppose somebody had been able to tell this child, "Look, you can't stay here. You're going to be born." That to him would have been death, because it would have meant a change from security to an insecurity. We can imagine the baby thinking, I don't want to be born. I want to stay here. I like it here. I'm comfortable; I'm fed; I'm loved. But there came a day when that baby was born. He left where he was and came into a new world. And here in this new world he felt loving arms around him, and the first thing he saw was a beautiful face looking down at him. Everybody ran at his slightest wish to do just what he wanted.
Then he began to grow up and he had some troubles, some hard knocks. But he loved life and he loved the world. Time passed and he became an old man. And the thought came to him, I'm going to die. He said to himself, "I don't want to die. I like it here, I love the stars at night. I love to feel the sun on my face. I love the tangy smells of autumn and to sit in front of a fire on winter evenings warming my old bones. I love my family and my friends. I don't want to die."
But then he did die. Now, do you think God, who provided all that protection and love for his coming into this world and getting started in it, was going to abandon him to gloom and terror when he left it?
"When Neil Collum comes to himself after death," I told Neil's mourners, "what will he see? I believe he will see the kindest face he can imagine looking at him and feel loving arms around him."
Why do I believe in this picture of a life beyond? Because I believe Jesus was raised from the dead to show that nothing can overcome the power of God—nothing—not even that thing we call death.

I'm Puzzled.
I had a reading with the famous and fabulous New York medium George Anderson about nine years ago. He was great. The reading cost me $1,000. I had a reading with you last year, it cost me $200 — and I must share that my reading experience with you was ten times more healing, effective and impressive than the one with George. Now I see you have decreased the cost of your readings even further because of the poor economy.
I don't get it! Wouldn't you be able to work less and make more money if you charged what George charges, and just focus on those who can afford that kind of money? As an entrepreneur at heart, that's certainly the way I would go:-)
I'm not trying to be nosey, but I know how hard you and Milt work at this, and then on top of it all — creating the Casa de Santa Maria — I just feel you should be rewarded more.

Your friendship, kind thoughts and comments are appreciated, and come at a good time:-)
Milt and I had a serious discussion on this subject fifteen years ago when we started out doing readings. Aim for the path of the Rich & Famous approach — or take the spiritual road of helping as many grieving folks as we possibly could. I'll admit, becoming rich and well known was indeed tempting — but it took us only a few minutes to decide that our mission this time around was to help the many rather than the few, — making our services more available than do the elite — or even the average mediums.
(Please understand, this is not at all a knock against (or judgment of) the wonderfully gifted mediums who are indeed famous and highly financially successful. We honor their work. They have a different role.)
Have we ever regretted that decision to be more easily available to the masses? Admittedly — more so when finances got a bit tight! But never seriously. We've experienced so much healing for folks who otherwise would be left to go it alone!. We've also had so much enjoyment from helping folks reconnect with their divinity, and in helping folks work through the daily challenges of life — with the help of advice from their spirit guides, through our Life Guidance readings.
There are different types and degrees of "payment" dear T, and we're happy with our lot in life. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and concern.

New Reading Offerings
Since that Prior Client Appreciation Discount was offered, we've added two new readings to our list, Mediumship Development and Merging. (These two new sessions are not included in the Prior Client Discount rate of $100, but are charged at the regular rate of $135.)
The descriptions of the new sessions are as follows.
Exploring Your Mediumship/Physic Development Have you sensed a desire to develop your growing intuitive ability? — Is it your desire to communicate more directly with spirit, receiving guidance to help yourself and others? — Have you already experienced glimpses of an ability you'd like to explore?
Due to the increasing number of requests we've added a phone session to focus on your Personal Mediumship and Physic Development. This session is part exploratory, part instructional, part informational, and part directional.
I sincerely believe, to some degree, all of us have the ability to communicate/connect in this way. The question is, do we have the perseverance to develop that ability, and then, what to do with it once realized. By the end of your one hour session, you'll know the answer to both questions — along with a review of the exercises necessary to eventually become proficient in mediumship readings — or simply connecting with the spirit dimension.
I can attest to the fact — for ME, it wasn't easy. I gave up several times — but eventually persevered.
What I don't want folks to expect is that we are promising to evaluate and train a person to become a working medium in that proverbial one-easy-lesson. I honestly don't think it will work that way:-)
Some day — soon I hope, we'll be offering a five day on-site course to those folks who feel ready to take that final step toward professional mediumship — but need that extra help/encouragement. Likely to be held here in San Luis, Colorado, or in Sedona, Arizona.
The cost of this session is $135, and that includes a tape of your session, two post phone-session follow up email questions that we'll address as you proceed with the process, and you'll also receive a booklet outlining the instructions that I personally received from my spirit guide for developing my own mediumship abilities. That's another way of saying this is not intended to be an ongoing process (to completion) that you are purchasing for $135. This is a beginning-to-discover whether you really want to embark on that adventure:-)
Merging Your Human Self with the Divine Higher Self The second new offering is Merging Your Human Self with the Divine Higher Self as outlined in Mother Mary's statement about 2010. "Last year (2009) was about clearing and purification to prepare for the energies of 2010. This year is about supporting the merging of your human self with the Higher Divine Self — your Holy Christ Self!" This is a preparatory reading session to the shift in consciousness already taking place and to 2012.

I Wish You Enough!
Recently I overheard a Father and daughter in their last moments together at the airport. The departure of her flight had been announced. Standing near the security gate, they hugged and the Father said, 'I love you, and I wish you enough.'
The daughter replied, 'Dad, our life together has been more than enough. Your love is all I ever needed. I wish you enough, too, Dad.'They kissed and the daughter left. The Father walked over to the window where I was seated. Standing there I could
see he wanted and needed to cry. I tried not to intrude on his privacy, but he welcomed me in by asking, 'Did you ever say good-bye to someone knowing it would be forever?'
'Yes, I have,' I replied. 'Forgive me for asking, but why is this a forever good-bye?'.
'I am old, and she lives so far away. I have challenges ahead and the reality is - her next trip back will be for my funeral,' he said.'When you were saying good-bye, I heard you say, 'I wish you enough.' May I ask what that means?'
He began to smile. 'That's a wish that has been handed down from other generations. My parents used to say it to everyone...' He paused a moment and looked up as if trying to remember it in detail, and he smiled even more. 'When we said, 'I wish you enough,' we were wanting the other person to have a life filled with just enough good things to sustain them.' Then turning toward me, he shared the following.I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright no matter how gray the day may appear.
I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun even more.
I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive and everlasting.
I wish you enough pain so that even the smallest of joys in life may appear bigger.
I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.
I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess..
I wish you enough hellos to get you through the final good-bye.Then, with tears in his eyes, he turned, and left!

If You Are Hoping For Signs
You don't have to wait for a signal or sign that your loved one is still around you, still thinking about you, still connected to you. After being involved in well over 3,000 communications with those now living back home in the spirit dimension, we share this as a fact!
YOU can go visit your loved one. You can give THEM a sign that you are still thinking of them, still connected to them, still around them.
Our thoughts create, just like God's thoughts create. This is the exercise spirit has shared. It involves putting yourself in a daydream state. Picture your loved one in a familiar situation. It might be walking on a beach, or along a mountain path. Perhaps sitting together on the back porch, or holding hands walking down Main Street.
Start up a conversation — how you miss them, what's been going on in your life, how you are still hurting from the loss of their physical presence, what your future plans are. From actual feedback we've received from those now in spirit, THEY EXPERIENCE THAT VISIT.
You are not making it up — you are creating the connection. When you get real good at this imagining exercise, one day you'll be going along, and all of a sudden you'll think -- "Wait a minute! I didn't think that statement. I didn't come up with that idea! I didn't think about reaching over and squeezing his hand!"
You'll find that in your imagining, your visit is taking on a life of its own. You are receiving responses, ideas, touches. Try it, and remember, as with many things, practice makes perfect.
I feel the need to add, this process works with our beloved pets as well. Whether it's a heart connection with a horse, a bird, a cat or dog — love is love. It will always exist. It never dies.
We're way beyond questioning if our animal loved ones have souls. Now we're dealing with the question, "Are our animal loved ones more spiritually advanced than we humans?" What we could learn from them in the way of unconditional love and acceptance. Know what I mean?
One thing spirit has told us, these special entities are gifts from The Creator to help us on our journey. That's a powerful role isn't it? Messengers of God. That's the definition of angels. Hum.
Anyway — good luck on connecting. Don't give up. Keep at it. You are more powerful than you think you are.
